Thursday's Seascape Class

For Thursday night’s class I had two students: Adrian and Sandra. Adrian took the floral class with me a week earlier but I forgot to bring my camera. He very kindly brought his painting this week so that I can get a picture of his work. This was a challenging painting and I think Adrian did very well with the various techniques.

The seascape lesson also went very well and we have two beautiful paintings as a result.

Seascape Class

We worked on a Seascape today. Ronna's painting is full of movement and has a great depth to it.

Watercolur - Live Model

We had a live model at our night school class on Monday. I’m always taking classes, for me it means that I’m always painting and I’m always learning. I think that’s very important to always learn.

Anyway, after many timed quick sketches we did a long study in watercolour.

Acrylic Painting Class at Michaels

I’m an authorized Grumbacher instructor for the painting classes at Michaels and I taught my first class today. I had two students and we worked on a landscape painting. Both of the students did wonderful jobs and are incorporating their own style into their work.

I’m quite proud of them.
